I love details, which works out great being an event planner where details are my job. Maybe that’s why I love the song, “Details” by Sarah Reeves; although, I think it has more to do with the fact that it reminds me how much our Heavenly Father cares about the details of our lives.
Just like I plan, coordinate and tend to every detail of an event to make it successful, God is doing the same thing for our lives. God created each and every detail of your life to serve a purpose and prepare you for the next chapter. He has thought through every detail of your life because He loves and cares for you beyond measure. Creating, orchestrating, designing and implementing details are God’s specialty. He wants to be involved in every part of our lives, no matter how big or small. He cares about them all.
Knowing God is in the details brings me so much comfort and assurance during our current wait of infertility. Do I know what He’s working on or doing? Not exactly, but I don’t have to. He does and I trust Him to work out the details. I’ve seen Him work them out in multiple areas of my life before and know He will do it again. This doesn’t mean it will fit my timeline or expectations, though. There is a proper time for them to unfold and only God knows that detail.
Be assured He is diligently working on the details relating to what you are waiting for. Your medical healing is a detail He cares about. Your financial situation is a detail He cares about. Whatever season of waiting you are in, it’s a detail He cares about it. There might be many moving parts, which may take longer to coordinate, but He’s meticulously working, planning and organizing every detail so when it arrives in your life, it’s EXACTLY as it should be. He truly cares and loves you which means you can trust Him to work through each and every detail of your life.
